“The Wi-Fi is rubbish” is a measurement problem before it is a hardware problem. We survey the floor with a heat map, place access points where the physics works, and sign acceptance off on real readings — not a box-tick.
How coverage gets fixed
- Heat-map survey of the floor as it is — dead zones, saturated channels, roaming blackspots plotted.
- Access-point placement designed from the readings: number, positions, channels, power.
- Install and tune, then re-survey: acceptance is signed against the measured result.
- Handover pack includes the before/after heat maps — you see what changed.
Acceptance = measured result. The job is finished when the re-survey readings meet the agreed coverage target — not when the hardware is unboxed.
